Oh, Value Comps, How I Loathe Thee



I am currently finishing up the value studies for my children's book, The Claw Foot Tub. Not my most favortie thing to do. However, I did fancy this one quite a bit. Reminds me of a comic book or graphic novel.

I am getting really excited about the painting phase. I just got my brand new set of Kolinsky Sable Brushes, and I can't wait to try them out!!! $250 brush set...a steal for less than $50 bucks on sale at Jerry's Artarama!

    Hi, something about black and white values, just melt me. I tend to work with a lot of inks myself, but I must say that from the looks of things, your abilities with a brush far surpass mine. I can appreciate that.
